Sports Card Collecting 101

The sports card and memorabilia market value is estimated to be $5.4 billion dollars annually! Combining the popularity of sports with the prospect of making money has grown the card collecting industry from one that was primarily popular with children into one that is for serious investors around the world. We will explore the history of card collecting, how to begin and grow a collection, decide what to invest in and learn how to buy and sell cards online. A trip to a local sports card store will be one of the many highlights of the day! Get your dad (or mom) to dig up their old card collection and let’s have some fun!

Let’s Get Crafty

Students will participate in a variety of crafts and use many different materials to create. Join this group if you would like to spend time relaxing while being crafty!

Bouldering 101
Mr. Johnson, Travel - Day Travel

Students will learn the basics of bouldering, or rock climbing. We will learn about rock climbing, and have a few hours in the afternoon to climb walls here in Goshen.

Hiking the Dunes
Mr. Miller, Travel - Day Travel

We will head to Indiana Dunes National and State Parks to hike the three Dune Challenge, a trail that summits three different dunes over the course of a 4 mile hike. We will spend a wonderful day outdoors!
