Homecoming 2023

Homecoming was held September 15-16. It was a great way for Bethany alumni to come back on campus, see friends, and visit with classmates! This year classes ending in 3 and 8 celebrated milestone reunions. Highlights included the class of 1973 celebrating their 50th reunion and the class of 1958 celebrating their 65th reunion.

Homecoming 2023 used the theme "Back to the Future." The theme combined the Bright Future campaign with the emphasis on alumni coming back to Bethany to see the transformation and construction of the new elementary wing. Several alumni toured the new wing on Saturday and wrote messages on the steel beams.

Events for Homecoming included the following: Caleb Morris ('13) spoke at chapel. High school students performed during Friday's Music on the Lawn. Prior to the music, alumni and families ate pie donated by Rise 'N Roll.  Saturday's events included a hymn sing, a director's presentation,  a panel discussion, and the girls Bruin soccer match versus Goshen Redhawks. Families and alumni enjoyed eating at the food trucks and gathering together in the Friendship Garden. The Heritage alumni, celebrating more than 50 years, ate a Rulli's catered dinner in the cafeteria. 

Overall, alumni from near and far (i.e. California, Oregon, and Washington) had a good time celebrating the weekend with Bethany students and families.
