With the expansion of our lower school, we’ve been working hard to update our library—creating a space that sparks curiosity, fosters a love of reading, and serves all Bethany students. Along with adding more books for our youngest readers (K-3), we’re making thoughtful structural improvements to enhance the library’s functionality and atmosphere.
Our most recent addition? A brand-new elevated seating area under the north-facing windows! This cozy, stadium-style setup allows our littlest learners to settle in comfortably and enjoy storytime with a clear view of the book. It also doubles as a stage for poetry readings and classroom performances as well as a hang out for our high schoolers before school and on breaks.
And we’re just getting started! More built-in shelving, expanded seating, and aesthetic upgrades are on the way.
