This week the 8th grade FACS (Family and Consumer Science) students held a Food Truck Day. Each group was required to create a grocery list, calculate their production costs, prepare food and serve their peers. Next week they will calculate their profits and their total revenue, along with an evaluation of their business. This fun event allows for creativity with foods and introduces students to basic business skills too! A successful event for our 8th graders!
