We are thrilled to announce the appointment of two new coaches to the Bruin coaching staff: Cross Country/Track and Field Coach Dallan Troyer and Girls Varsity Soccer Coach Jordan Miller.
Dallan brings a varied background of coaching experience to the position, having coached at high school and collegiate levels throughout his career. Dallan participated in Track and Field in high school and at Bethel College in Mishawaka. Following graduation from Bethel, Dallan served as the Track and Field coach at Goshen High School from 2007-2012, then was an assistant at Goshen College until 2016. Following his stint at Goshen College, he returned to Goshen High School as an assistant before volunteering at Bethany for the 2023 season. Dallan is certified as a Level 2 coach through USATF in sprints and distance.
Dallan has two children attending Bethany in grades 2 and 7, and a 5th grader at Goshen Community schools. His wife Janice was a graduate of Bethany, and is currently a pastor at Silverwood Mennonite Church.
Jordan grew up in Denver, Colorado, and attended Goshen College from 2006-2010. Currently a 4th-grade elementary teacher at Prairie View Elementary School, Jordan most recently coached at Chelsea High School in Chelsea, Michigan. While at Chelsea, Jordan served as the assistant coach for the girls and boys programs from 2015-16 and then took over as the head coach for the boys program from 2017-2020.
Jordan is married to Elizabeth Nafziger ('06 Bethany and '10 Goshen College grad) and they have two children, Cora (4) and Owen (1).
