Environmental science students just completed their trash to treasure projects. They transformed old, unwanted, items into beautiful, fun, and functional new pieces. There was a seesaw out of an old tire that was found in a dumpster, a cat house made out of cardboard, a quilt out of old clothes, and more. Overall, doing a trash to treasure project is a great way to reduce waste, foster creativity, save money, and learn important environmental lessons. It's inspiring to see what we can create when we put our minds to it and commit to reducing waste.
