This is a position provided through Catapult Learning, which uses federal EANS funds. Sarah is a 2001 Bethany graduate who continued her education at Goshen College with a degree in psychology and history. At Indiana University she completed a master’s degree in K-12 special education. For the past twelve years, Sarah was a special education teacher in Goshen and Middlebury schools. She was also Bethany’s Enrollment Director and girls tennis coach from 2005-09.
Sarah is thrilled to be returning to Bethany. She passionately believes all children can learn–but learn in different ways. She is excited to partner with teachers to help all students grow, learn, and thrive.
Sarah and her family attend College Mennonite Church. Sarah is currently serving on the church board and loves to lead children’s time during worship services.
Sarah and her husband Seth (2001 Bethany graduate) are childhood sweethearts. They have three children: Lewis, 5th grade; Elliot, 3rd grade; and Ava, 1st grade, all of whom will be attending Bethany this year. Sarah and her husband enjoy coaching their children’s sports and cheering them on. She also enjoys running with her two dogs, reading, photography, and taking naps!
