Bethany welcomes Eliza Stoltzfus as 5th Grade teacher!

We are pleased to announce that Eliza Stoltzfus will be rejoining the Bethany faculty as our 5th grade teacher, beginning this fall. More than a decade ago, Eliza was Bethany’s first-ever 6th grade teacher, and initially helped pilot the 4th-5th grade program at Bethany.

Eliza left Bethany to pursue other teaching opportunities in the community, including directing and leading children’s theater at the Community School of the Arts and the Aeschliman Peace Art Center. During her time away, Eliza was also a teacher and coordinator for high ability programs in Goshen and Elkhart schools. She currently teaches in the high ability program at Roosevelt Steam Academy in a 5/6 split class.

Eliza has a passion for incorporating the creative arts into project-based learning, and she excels at building community. We are excited about all that Eliza will bring to the team in our growing lower school. Please help us welcome Eliza back to Bethany!
