The Bethany Advancement Office was pleased to welcome over 80 guests to our campus last week for our annual Grandfriends Day event. This special morning allows students in grades 3-5 to invite grandparents, or “grandfriends,” to spend the morning with them here at school. Students and their guests enjoyed an assembly featuring presentations by all the lower school classes and beginning instrumentalists, as well as a time for student-led tours, photos, and a snack of warm banana bread… fresh from the oven. After several years of Covid-19 restrictions limiting this event, it was heartwarming to see these students and their guests snacking, smiling, laughing and genuinely enjoying a fun morning together.
