We are excited to introduce Jen Bontrager, the teacher for the new second grade class beginning next school year.!
Mrs. Bontrager is a Bethel College (Mishawaka) graduate and has 11 years teaching experience in local public schools. Her area of interest and professional focus is in the pedagogy of reading which will augment Bethany’s already-strong reading program.
“I’m extremely grateful to the Bethany community for the whole-child experience the school has provided for my children, and thrilled to be joining their team. I thoroughly enjoy getting to know my students and their families and am excited to continue to do this in Bethany’s small school atmosphere,” Mrs. Bontrager stated.
Mrs. Bontrager and her husband Ben have three boys: Isaac a Goshen College frosh, Jesse a BCS sophomore, and Jacob a BCS seventh grader.
