This fall, 13 Bethany Christian student athletes received Academic All-State awards, including at least one athlete from each team.
“At Bethany, we believe in educating the whole student,” said Head of School Tim Lehman. “We encourage all of our students to explore and become involved in multiple extracurricular and cocurricular activities.”
The effect is evident: over 70% of all Bethany high school students were a member of a sports team this fall. Shared experiences like this not only support physical health, but help students build relationships and grow in community together.
“Our coaches support the academic and spiritual formation of our athletes while running successful athletic programs. We are proud of what our students are able to achieve in the classroom and on the athletic fields,” said Lehman.
