Boys Basketball: The varsity also finished with an 11-10 record. The team won its holiday tourney for the third consecutive year and went on a 10-3 run before losing its last game of the season. The team lost a close game to Lakewood Park Christian in sectional play, a team the Bruins had defeated earlier in the year. This year's team strength was their oustanding defensive play, which held opponents to 43.8 points per game average and overall field goal percentage of 34.2--both among the top in the state.
