Job Overview: The Development Associate reports directly to the Chief Advancement Officer and serves on the advancement team. The primary responsibility of the Development Associate will be managing a portfolio of donors. The Development Associate, as part of the Advancement team, lends support through strategy and event planning for admissions and marketing as needed. 

 

Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and steward a portfolio of donors focused on annual giving
  2. Oversee alumni board
  3. Coordinate the creation of content and distribution of the alumni blog and Bulletin
  4. Develop and coordinate in-person and virtual events such as: alumni sports nights, senior luncheon, etc.
  5. Coordinate annual solicitations and alumni communication
  6. Collaborate with Advancement team as needed
  7. Other tasks as assigned by the Chief Advancement Officer

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree and experience in donor relations preferred
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills with multiple constituencies.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work on a collaborative advancement team.
  • Willingness to participate in BCS community activities
  • Solution oriented, positive individual who is strategic and confident 
  • Strong commitment to professional ethics

Job Overview: The Advancement Associate reports directly to the Chief Advancement Officer and serves on the advancement team. The Advancement Associate will manage a portfolio of donors while administering the database and gift entry.  The Advancement Associate, as part of the Advancement team, lends support through strategy and event planning for admissions and marketing as needed.


Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and steward a portfolio of donors
  2. Maintain and update the Bloomerang database to ensure accurate and up-to-date donor records
  3. Oversee the processing of donations and gifts in Bloomerang, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  4. Generate acknowledgement letters and receipts for donors in a timely manner.
  5. Manage data reporting to provide insights into donor trends, campaign effectiveness, and fundraising goals.
  6. Collaborate with Advancement team as needed
  7. Other tasks as assigned by the Chief Advancement Officer

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree and experience in donor relations, data management or administrative support preferred
  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to data integrity and quality of work.
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills with multiple constituencies.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work on a collaborative advancement team.
  • Willingness to participate in BCS community activities

Job Overview: The Marketing Director reports directly to the Chief Advancement Officer and serves on the advancement team. The Marketing Director will manage the marketing strategy for Bethany Christian Schools as well as the digital and written footprint. The Marketing Director, as part of the Advancement team, lends support through strategy and event planning as needed. 


Responsibilities:

  1. Develop marketing strategy for Bethany Christian Schools
  2. Create and maintain brand identity
  3. Manage website and social media initiatives.
  4. Manage site reporting needs, compiling and reporting on key site usage metrics. Ability to use web analytics data to recommend improvement actions on the basis of those metrics.
  5. Utilize audience matrix to ensure segmented messaging is delivered to appropriate audiences.
  6. Manage photography for activities, events and athletic team photos
  7. Design athletic, musical and music programs, brochures, ads, invitations, flyers, newsletters, and other digital publications.
  8. Strategize and write public communications, including crisis response, press releases and Bethany family communications.
  9. Other tasks as assigned by the Chief Advancement Officer

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communication or related field with related experience.
  • Prior experience in marketing and communication with a preference for experience in a non-profit organization.
  • Experience using tools like Constant Contact, Canva, Asana, Adobe Creative, Google Analytics, Google Sites and more to manage Bethany’s digital and written footprint
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong commitment to professional ethics
