Seniors Ian McHugh and Nico Brenneman-Ochoa qualified for the National Speech and Debate Tournament for the fourth time by securing first and second places in the Big Questions Debate at Fort Wayne Dwenger High School last Saturday, December 9th. The topic they debated was, “Resolved: Belief in the supernatural is incompatible with science.” Nico and Ian currently hold the fourth and fifth positions, respectively, on the all-time speech and debate points list at Bethany.
